We are seeking an innovative, creative, analytical and strategic thinker, who is passionate about digital media and the future of Twitch advertising.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems, works effectively with cross-functional teams and thrives in a fast-paced setting that is constantly evolving.
This role will be highly visible with senior levels of Amazon, and will need to work collaboratively with internal management teams to understand where our relative advantages or risks lie, where new market segments and solutions should be created.
As a Sales Specialist, you will develop strategies and solutions to drive adoption of Twitch offering with advertisers and ensure your customers’ investments fit into their overall marketing strategy with Amazon.
You will work closely with Account Executives (AEs), Agency Development Managers (ADMs), Go to Market (GTM) specialists, and Amazon Ads Customers.
You are naturally curious, and will apply your creativity and curiosity by taking a lead in strategizing Twitch solutions for our advertisers, diving deep within the advertising community to discuss Amazon’s benefits, and working both with internal and external stakeholders to innovate solutions that meet the objectives of our advertising customers.
This role will define innovative advertising experiences and coordinate with internal teams to create scalable and repeatable solutions.
The ideal candidate should have experience buying, planning, packaging, and selling both directly and programmatically.
They will have a strong knowledge of the digital advertising landscape, experience negotiating and closing annual agreements and the ability to drive conversations with C-Suite client contacts.
They are comfortable with ambiguity and juggling multiple priorities simultaneously in fast-paced dynamic environment.
They possess high levels of creativity, independence, flexibility and attention to detail.
Key job responsibilities - Deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to our clients - Scale Twitch GTM strategies across sales teams - Develop and implement bespoke industry strategies within assigned verticals - Provide advertiser and/or vertical related insights and collateral to sales teams.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop narratives that differentiate Amazon Ads offerings tied to customer objectives and business outcomes - Represent Amazon Ads externally at industry events to drive upfront and annual commitments - Determine the right goals, inform decisions, and help design scalable, long-term solutions that meet shared objectives.
- Leverage an entrepreneurial mindset to solve complex problems, with solutions tailored for each customer and made as simple as possible - Assess, develop, and advise senior leaders on overall business strategy About the team Twitch is one of our most unique publishers.
Our team is the single-threaded leader on all Twitch ad products, countries, and customer segments.
We are responsible for overall Twitch Ads business strategy to fuel long-term growth and innovation – working closely with all sales and product teams across Amazon Ads and building on the foundation already established by integrating Twitch into the broader Amazon Ads organization.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • 7+ years of B2B sales experience • 7+ years of digital ad sales as an individual contributor selling performances based advertising or similiar offering experience • Experience with podcast sales, video sales, or audio programs • Effectively works cross-functionally (AE, Sales Leadership, Yield, Product, Measurement) • Experience selling various video formats (MS, SS, Sponsorships, Sports) • Experience building and deploying GTM strategies, with an emphasis on packaging, positioning and messaging.
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), including the ability to present complex topics both in person, over the phone, and through concise document writing PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Experience growing a product to maturity through collaboration with Product teams • Experience presenting to SVP and C-Level • Experience negotiating Video Upfronts at agency and Brand level • STV/TV measurement proficiency • Experience building and executing product and sales strategies across teams Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously while defining and delivering priorities amidst ambiguity Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
