THE OPPORTUNITYWe are hiring a Legal Manager to our Legal team in Sao Paulo!YOUR IMPACTProvide strategic legal support to commercial teams in Brazil by drafting, analyzing and negotiating contracts with the company''s clients; Participate in meetings with external clients; Be the focal point for Privacy matters; Plan training/workshop and provide general guidance on privacy to the different areas of the company, as may be necessary; Give legal support on consumer matters and manage related litigation; Manage external law firms in a cost effective matter; Anticipate, identify andmitigate risks and causes of the main legal contingencies or exposures; Adopt preventive measures to avoid legal contingencies and disputes; Serve as a trusted advisor and provide responsive legal and advice to senior business leaders to further the company''s business and protect the company''s interests; team management. WHO YOUAREA Law Degree and license to practice law in Brazil; Relevant experience as in-house lawyer in multinational companies or in law firms; Tech/startup and privacy/cyber experience preferred; Fluent English (written and spoken); Spanish will be a plus;Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to explain complex, challenging issues in a clear manner to all levels of the organization; Ability to work collaboratively across countries; Solid judgment and business acumen, particularly in determining the significance of legal issues in the context of business goals, assessing risks/benefits and providing business and legal solutions; Enthusiastic, self-motivated and efficient, strong organizational skills in order to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously; Able to work accurately and independently with an appropriate sense of urgency and function effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and flexibility.
