This position will teach at least five classes each semester with an expectation of teaching composition.
Classes could be a mix of in-person, online, or hybrid format in 16-week and 8-week lengths.

ENG, ENH, LIT, ENGL, RHET, WTG, COMP, CRW, LIN, JRN, ESL, BLE, BME, Rhetoric, Literature, Critical Thinking, Composition, Literacy, Linguistics, Writing.
RA Master’s in any field with 18 graduate-level credits in courses with these keywords will be reviewed to verify applicability.
HUM, SPC, LAE, EDU, IDS, RDG, Culture, Language, Critical Theory, Critical Analysis, ReadingDesired Qualifications A Master’s degree and/or PHD degree in English/Composition/Rhetoric or an MFA in Creative Writing, or a Master’s in any teaching field with 18 graduate semester hours in English.
Experience teaching English composition courses at a community college or university for two or more years.
Experience working with, interacting with, and instructing individuals of diverse abilities and/or cultural backgrounds.
Experience using active learning successfully in English composition courses at a community college or university for two or more years.
Experience with successfully implementing relevant and engaging course content and materials.
Experience with multiple teaching modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, online, accelerated), and working with a variety of technologies.
Meets the minimum qualifications to teach Humanities (HUM) classes.
Master's degree or higher in Humanities OR 18 graduate-level credits in at least three of the following prefixes/subjects/keywords.
