Supplier Quality Engineer - Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create Alert Danfoss is looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team. You will be expected to excel in a fast pace, growing company and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement. You will need to have outstanding interpersonal communication skills to deal with customers, co-workers and suppliers. This position is located in Caxias do Sul/Rio Grande do Sul/Brazil. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Lead supplier development projects to drive key suppliers to targeted quality performance levels. Train supplier to achieve system level root cause and to implement long term corrective actions to eliminate reoccurrence of quality rejects. Ensure supplier quality and performance data is available and accurate at all times for suppliers in their category. Ensure supplier is fully trained and capable of meeting Danfoss change management expectations. This includes notifying Danfoss of changes and completing all aspects of the PPAP. Maintain an expert level understanding of the global standards, tools, and templates and tie them to Danfoss expectations. Provide input and feedback to improve the effectiveness of the tools and processes Verify the supplier improvement plans are targeted to meet or exceed Danfoss expectations and that they are implemented to the agreed timelines. Ensure supplier representatives and management are fully engaged and taking ownership of problems and solutions. Identify gaps where execution does not meet expectations and train people to enable action plans to close the gaps. The ideal candidate possesses these skills. Bachelor´s degree in Engineering. Preferred experience in following quality tools: PPAP, MSA, calibration, Control Plans, PFMEA, and detailed manufacturing work instructions. Previous quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment required with preferred experience with IATF 16949:2016.
