SR. PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

DESCRIPTION As a Senior Practice Development Manager at AWS for Latin America, you will work with multiple teams in crafting and executing strategic plans, fostering new practice capabilities, and overseeing critical administrative functions.
You'll be expected to identify and address business trends and guiding diverse teams across a wide spectrum of functions.
We seek a strategic thinker with robust business and technical acumen, ready to lead and develop business lines in Latin America while contributing to global initiatives.
In this position, you'll operate with significant autonomy and discretion, tackling large-scale, complex projects vital to our organization's success.

You must be adept at both developing and driving projects, as well as ensure their completion.
Your ability to anticipate obstacles, eliminate roadblocks, and balance business needs against constraints will be crucial.

Key job responsibilities • Provide strategic guidance to area leadership teams, bringing deep knowledge of business operations, Professional Services, and employee engagement best practices.
• Be a business partner to Professional Services leadership team and executives, providing data-driven insights to help shape the strategy of the business.
• Lead and review the end-to-end execution of annual planning process to include headcount, utilization, and goal planning.
• Regularly assess and advise leadership on headcount demand based on financial projections, location strategy, sales pipeline, hiring projections, and other relevant business metrics and leader inputs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • 10+ years managing multiple, large-scale programs and communicating results to senior leaders.
• 10+ years professional services experience, including basic understanding of financials and key business metrics.
• Foundational knowledge of analytical tools such as QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau with ability to review dashboards and generate insights.
• Proven ability to communicate verbally and in writing with business and technical audiences at all level.
• Experience in building and scaling mechanisms to ensure adoption and effectiveness of business processes.
• BA/BS degree in related field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Project Management certifications Strategic-level understanding of Cloud Computing and the AWS platform.
• Master's degree in related field.
