Minimum qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.
., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
3 years of experience building and developing infrastructure or distributed systems.

years of experience in a leadership role (e.
., technical leadership or people management, supervision, or team leadership).
Experience with security engineering, computer, network security, authentication and security protocols.
Preferred qualifications.
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
Experience as an active participant in technical/developer communities, open source projects, or other developer community groups.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and technologies.

Responsibilities Set clear expectations with individuals based on their level and role and aligned to the broader organization's goals.
Meet regularly with individuals to discuss performance and development, and provide feedback and coaching.
Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.
., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Lead a team of engineers driving the innovation in a distributed infrastructure for open source products.
Build tools and maintain the release of open source software securely.
Work with external partners and the open source community.
