REGIONAL OPERATIONS RISK MANAGER

Regional Operations Risk Manager - The role of Regional Operations Risk Manager is a key function within an emerging risk management organization that will engage and support key stakeholders including Operations Lead Team members to identify, assesses, analyze, and control material operations risk in their businesses. We''re looking for a professional to be a valued business partner through the implementation and support of a leading practice risk management system called ORM (Operations Risk Management), which enables the organization to consistently and effectively own and manage risk that affects the achievement of business objectives. The Risk Manager will need to demonstrate improvement in internal controls, governance and risk management oversight across Alcoa Operations. Main Responsibilities:Lead the deployment and development Alcoa Risk Management process and regularly review existing risk mitigation practices Foster the regional responsibilities and support of ORM and building into a sustainable process and culture or risk management. Provide mentorship to the ORM Process Team on how to best review risks and support location SPAs and Risk Owners, supporting the training and education of the regions Collaborate with others to be sure no material risk is left unaddressed, and keep track of progressbeing achieved in risk reduction efforts Work with the various operations and functions to increase consistency through global solutions and strategies. Keep up to date on technological developments, industry tendencies, and innovative solutions. Be an administrator in Alcoas Risk Register System and lead risk assessments, incident investigations and audits as needed. Facilitate Bowtie Analysis and other risk assessment methods Regularly support the Global Critical Risk manager to accomplish the objectives associated with Alcoa Risk Management Connect with Regional Vice Presidents and Regional Operations Managers to ensure Risks within ORM are accurately assessed, managed, and reviewed About you:Our values act with integrity, operate with excellence, care for people and lead with courage are at the foundation of everything we do.
