As we further return to the office, were more passionate than ever about supporting the long-term success & wellness of everyone we feed, and we love what we do. **About you**:The **Financial Manager** will lead the LATAM accounting and financial reporting. This position reports to the LATAM Regional Director and Americas Controller, and Compass LATAM Financial Director, and will leverage their strong financial and accounting skills to partner with key stakeholders (culinary, hospitality, concept development, procurement, risk management, operations and HR), to promote financial best practices in line with Compass standards and our clients Food expectations. **The great things youll do**:Financial governance of the LatAm regionWork closely with and establish alignment with country MDs and Financial directorsPreparation and maintaining the operating budgetPreparation and maintaining the forecasting processMaintain and reinforce all accounting policies and standards consistentlyacross the accountProvide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial dataProtect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidentialReview accounts receivable on a weekly basisReview weekly/monthly accruals and allocations and provide back up accordinglyCommunicate site issues/concerns to operations managementResponsible for the preparation of Weekly and Monthly financial summary reports to unit management and leadership groupsMaintain on a weekly basis the client consolidated budget roll up toolsAssist with annual and on-going budget support (training, questions) for managers and chefs and review budgets by location with Executive Leadership teamAssist with proformas for new cafés/programsAssist with achieving Cost Neutral Catering ModelProvide support for client vendor payment systemsEnsure invoice process has proper checks and balancesReview weekly audits of orders vs. invoices to ensure correct vendor paymentRespond to vendor inquiries as neededAssist storage operationsStorage functionality and cost controlReceiver training and developmentOther financial projects as neededWritten and verbal proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Portuguese is a plus4 year college degree in Business/Accounting and/or 10 years of experience is requiredStrong partnership skillsAbility to influence in a matrixed organizationAble to dynamically and creatively problem solveAdept at managing multiple client and internal requests and deadlinesAble to shift priorities for self and team on short noticeProficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and OutlookProficient in Google Docs products including Sheets, Docs, Slides and GMailApproximately 20% travel is requiredPositions at this location require a COVID-19 vaccination.
