QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

Quality Assurance Engineer - This role aims to support the product integrity plan by implementing various engineering quality assurance activities, including regular inspections, detailed audits, compliance testing, and continuous evaluations of technical processes. Job Purpose: The purpose of this position is to contribute to the design, development, and manufacturing of world-class rail products and services by applying specialized knowledge, skills, and competencies. The role also involves ensuring that products, processes, and systems meet established quality standards and requirements. Detailed Tasks:
- Interpret customer requirements and specifications, reviewing or developing new engineering procedures to ensure compliance.
- Audit established engineering procedures and quality systems to ensure compliance.
- Implement and maintain a continuous improvement program.
- Assist auditors and inspectors from customers and third parties.
- Maintain an inspection program to ensure engineering results meet requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and perform statistical analyses.
- Assist in defining the necessary quality metrics for the department and the team.
- Submit detailed reports to relevant executives and department heads. Education: Bachelor''s degree in technical areas. Engineering courses and related fields. Requirements:
- Proven experience as a quality engineer in an ISO-certified company.
- Availability for travel and external work as needed.
- Proficiency in MS Office, statistical software, and databases.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection practices, and audits.
- Expertise in planning, executing tests, and validation. Desired Technical Knowledge:
- Understanding of RAMS standards (e. G. , EN 50126).
- Solid training in statistics with proven application.
- Previous experience in railway operations or with suppliers in the United States. Language: Advanced English (mandatory)/fluent (desirable). The employee will report to a manager of another nationality. Skills:
