PURCHASING INTERN

Our Team:The Global Purchasing Operations Department is looking for a procurement intern to join our team. As the Purchasing intern, you will provide procurement operational support to various lines of businesses. We collaborate with our internal clients, gather buying requirements, and create purchase orders in a timely manner and in compliance with our processes and policies. We support category managers, sourcing specialists, and our internal clients to identify buying channel opportunities and potential cost savings. We partner with Accounts Payable as well as vendors to ensure expedited deliveries, timely payments, and handle purchase order change requests. We will trust you to:Achieve customer satisfaction through timely purchase order processing (for both the LatAm and North America regions). Process, review, and release approval purchase orders to suppliers across various technology and non-technology commodities. Be able to handle a rapidly changing environment while working diligently. Set up and validate new vendors on SAP. Maintain a customer service focus on resolving invoice issues for Latam and North America region. Upload contracts on our system and on the shared drive. You need to have:Fluency in English. Be a strong team player with great people skills (communication, collaboration, integrity). Excel, Word, and PowerPoint experience would be beneficial. Ability to work 6 hours per day for 1-2 years while in school/university. Fluency or advanced knowledge of Spanish is a plus. Does this sound like you?Apply if you think we're a good match.
