Develop comprehensive project plans that align with business objectives, including scope, timeline, resource allocation, and risk management.
Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Apply project management methodologies and tools to track project progress and performance.
Foster and maintain solid relationships with collaborators, including senior leaders, business units, and external partners.
Facilitate regular project meetings, providing clear and concise updates on project status, risks, and issues.
Ensure stakeholder alignment and buy-in throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Proactively address project issues and escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Coordinate with resource managers to ensure the availability and optimal utilization of project resources.
Supervise and lead project budgets, ensuring efficient and effective use of financial resources.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and follow regulatory requirements.
Implement standard methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives to improve project delivery processes.
Qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
Solid experience in project management, with a consistent track record of leading strategic projects in a sophisticated, global organization.
Solid comprehension of project management methodologies, tools, and standard processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and social skills.
Ability to encourage and lead change across a matrixed organization.
Proficiency in project management software (e.
., MS Project, Smartsheet).
Proficiency in English and Spanish languages.
