Manager, Accounting - This role works with the teams to improve Current Business Processes and Reporting to gain efficiencies and effectiveness in the day-to-day activities. What youll be doing: Manages the Accounts Payable (AP) Team. Manages Accounting Functions including Balance Sheet Reconciliations for the AP Trade Accounts as well as Non-Trade and Clearing Accounts which fall under AP. Ensures Timely Payments of Vendor Invoices and Expense Reports; Maintains Accurate Records and Control Reports. Manages Collections Activities such as sending follow up Inquiries, negotiating with Past Due Accounts, and finding ways to improve our DSO. Ensures information in AP Sub Ledgers is up to date and accurate to generate reports. Coordinates with the Treasury Department to help Accurately Forecast Cash Disbursements / Cash Receipts for future periods. Coordinates with M&A regarding Integrating the AP Business Processes for any Acquired Companies. Identifies areas in Current Business Processes to Automate and Improve to gain efficiencies in the day-to-day activities. Provide ongoing performance and general feedback to direct reports. Mentor and train direct reports. Approves timecards for direct reports. All other management duties as assigned. What were looking for: 5+ years Accounting Experience Excellent communication, collaboration and facilitation skills to build good working relationships and credibility at all organizational levels. Strong planning, project management and execution skills, with the ability to direct and influence. Experience leading large cross-functional teams on complex projects Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ideal characteristics include being pro-active, goal-oriented, service-oriented, and flexible. One or more years of Leadership Experience Technology industry experience preferred. Education: Bachelors Degree Required Travel: 5% #J-18808-Ljbffr
