For additional information about the Wella Company please visit (url removed)THE ROLE:The Logistics Leader is responsible of ensuring that our Wella warehouses in Brazil (3PL owned) and Transports providers have the capacity and capability to:Receive, store, pick, pack, ship and deliver beauty products while meeting internal and external customer requirements for best service, cost, and control. She/he is also responsible to ensure Quality and HS&E compliance, inventory accuracy, lead times, proper functioning of interfaces and claims handling. The Logistics Leader is also responsible for continuous improvement of the operation, by reducing losses through the supply chain and ensuring agility to meet the changing needs of the business. She/He should manage the 3PLs and Transports providers governance, focus on deep contract comprehension, ensure right invoicing, identify and implement cost reduction opportunities and follow all internal controls procedures. She/He must be able to cover the role of any of the members of the Team (reportees) if neededMAIN RESPONSABILITIES:Operational Excellence:Drive the operations of the warehouse and Transports carriers to achieve business objectives in terms of service, sustainability, quality and cost; Prioritize activities/programs of 3PL partners to deliver the right servicewhile aligning needs with the different supply chain teams; Align capacity and capability of 3PL and Transports partners to fulfill business volumes and service standards; Lead operational drumbeat of the physical distribution team to achieve KPIs, identify critical areas and bring results back to target when needed. Projects:Support the implementation of the new footprint defined for Wella in Brazil in partnership with the 3PL,Transports Carriers and Imports OrganizationsCost:Align and track yearly budget, identifying cost evolution, projection and deviation vs plan. Identify and deliver continuous improvement projects to reduce warehousing & transportation cost; Inventory management:Reduce the inventory excess and optimize storage utilization. Quality & Safety Assurance:Support quality and safety standards and audits. Organization:Define roles and responsibilities of the physical distribution team based on business needs. Ensure the organization is right for the challenges and coach every team member to help their development. WHAT YOU WILL BRING ALONG:Bachelors? or Masters? degree in Engineering, Transport, Logistics or similar; Significant experience in fast-paced operations, logistics or supply chain; Prior experience drivingprocess improvement and performance metrics; Empresa importante knowledge and hands on testing skills is valued; Significant analytical orientation and data-driven decision making. Results oriented, autonomous and efficient; Strong oral communication and excellent business writing skills in English; Stakeholder management, negotiation and project management skills; Flexibility to travel.
