KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

Key Account Manager - The Key Account Manager is the primary technical resource for the field sales force, being responsible for actively leading and managing the assessment stage of the sales process, working closely with the Bidding and Demand Generation teams as the primary technical advisor and product advocate for our products. Must be able to identify all technical issues for assigned accounts to ensure complete customer satisfaction at every stage of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle. Must be the main contact for customers, bridging communication with the internal operations teams. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations; Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc; Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs; Visiting customers to fulfill the Profit Plan, respecting the expenses budget while adhering to Eaton values and ethical standards; Establishing new and maintaining existing long-term relationships with customers; Managing and interpreting customer requirements; Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs; Responsible for fulfilling the Eaton CRM with all information regarding customer contacts, opportunities, volume, etc. ; Preparing reports for head office; Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events; Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education; Contributing to EHS metrics established for the area/function/factory in accordance with the deployment realized; Complying with EHS and quality policy in accordance with trainings and communications transmitted for the function. Qualifications:Education and Skills required to meet position qualifications: Broad knowledge of our products and services; Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base; Strong business acumen and negotiation skills; Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements; Excellent communication skills; Self-motivated with a proven track record in Utility segment sales and knowledge of technology; Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches; Preferable Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical Automation; English proficiency is desirable; Experience in technical sales; Availability to travel (50% of time). #J-18808-Ljbffr
