Job Description About the role.
The Digital Product, Senior Manager role at Takeda is responsible for spearheading the development and execution of a comprehensive DevOps strategy.
This role enhances software quality, application performance, and team productivity through optimized interactions between development, quality assurance, and IT operations.
By integrating the latest technology practices, the Senior Manager ensures operational excellence and supports Takeda's commitment to delivering better health outcomes.
How you will contribute.
* Develop and implement a strategic DevOps framework to streamline software deployments * Foster collaboration across development, quality assurance, and IT operations to enhance productivity * Integrate and optimize new technologies and best practices into existing operations * Lead and mentor a team of product owners and IT professionals * Drive the continuous improvement of software and system processes Skills and qualifications.
* Manages customer relationships effectively, aligning product strategies with client needs * Develops and implements strategic plans that influence the direction of product development * Experienced in leading product management efforts, from conception through to market launch * Capable of directing and influencing teams to achieve strategic objectives * Understands and applies business strategies and goals in product development contexts * Proficient in design thinking, customer experience, and UI/UX methodologies to enhance product appeal * Utilizes Agile, SDLC, and DevOps methodologies to improve product development processes * Applies advanced Terraform techniques for infrastructure management, guiding others in its application * Expertly orchestrates container ecosystems using Docker, contributing to process enhancements * Manages complex Kubernetes orchestration tasks and mentors others in its use As an expert professional within the organization, you develop innovative solutions to complex problems aligned with organizational objectives.
Your work involves addressing intricate issues, requiring in-depth analysis and judgment.
You also engage with key contacts outside your expertise area and contribute to the development of new concepts and standards.
Operating with considerable autonomy, you serve as a consultant to management and an external spokesperson on major matters, often working independently and leading function teams or projects.
Additionally, you play a role in training and mentoring junior staff.
