Head of Marketing - We envision a future where the majority of global financial transactions are driven by CLAMMs and other Decentralized Finance (DeFi) products. Our ambition reaches beyond becoming the leading provider of financial primitives in cryptowe aim to reshape the foundation of finance itself. We are building the next NASDAQ. We are looking for someone to lead our Marketing team and strategy. A successful candidate will be fully bought in on Orcas mission. The candidate should have an excellent understanding of the traditional financial system; understanding of DeFi primitives and the Solana ecosystem would be a plus. What Youll Do: Review and translate strategy into actionable marketing plans. Lead the Marketing team to create targeted, relevant content (Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. ) that aligns with Orcas brand and strategy. Develop and implement Orcas channel marketing strategy: rank channels, plan channel-specific initiatives, identify success metrics, and execute campaigns. Collaborate across organizational functions to market product releases and amplify Orcas brand. Establish an analytics-driven growth culture by integrating data insights into every marketing decision and campaign. Continue to expand Orcas reach to new and existing DeFi users. Begin to position yourself as a public figure for Orca. This could include speaking at conferences, appearing on podcasts, writing for industry publications, or other activities depending on your strengths and preferences. What Youll Bring: Deep understanding of the culture of crypto Twitter, especially within the Solana community. Track record of executing successful cross-channel marketing campaigns. Significant experience personally using Orca and other Solana DeFi protocols. Ownership mentality: if you see a better way, say something and work with others to get it done. Team player mentality: a good leader doesnt put ones self above others, but rather, is able to motivate others to work as a team. Thought process that is both creative and analytical, with the ability to put yourself in the users shoes. Ability to think big picture but also a willingness to get in the weeds and do the work. What Orca offers: Salary: 175,000 - 225,000 USDC (Range for US employees) Token allocation: 100,000 - 150,000 ORCA over 4 years (Range for US employees) Flexible work schedule. Home office stipend. Hiring Process: We like to be transparent and efficient. We move fast, and this process will be short and intense. We believe this process gives candidates the best experience in getting decisions quickly instead of long, drawn out interview rounds that last weeks. 1st Round (60 min) This will be for me to get an understanding of your experiences and test your knowledge of Solana and DeFi. It is also an opportunity for you to learn more about the role and company. 2nd Round (60 min) This will be an interview with Nathan, our CEO. He will see how you approach management and strategy. Final Round (60 min each) This round will consist of 4 interviews back-to-back all conducted the same day. It will be with Tags (CLO), tmoc (CPO), Laguna (Social Media Manager), and Ki (Head of BD).
