HEAD CREDIT ANALYSIS BRAZIL

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced Credit Risk Management professional to join our Brazil Surety operation as Head Credit Analysis Brazil and support our dynamic and growing surety underwriting activity within Swiss Re's Corporate Solutions Brazil business unit.
This leadership role is a critical component in driving the Brazil surety underwriting process by ensuring fundamental credit risk assessment quality and developing a high-performing team.
As the ideal candidate, you will have a broad and deep understanding of surety products, strong fundamental credit analytical skills and proven experiece in credit risk and team management.
About the Role.
As Head Credit Analysis Brazil, you will be a key member of both the Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Brazil Surety and the global, Credit & Surety Corporate Solutions Credit Product Center teams and be responsible for.
Team Leadership and Development.
Lead and mentor a team of 5 credit analysts, ensuring their professional growth and performance.
Credit Risk Analysis and Decision Making.
Approval/recommendation of credit limits in line with Swiss Re Group policies and standards.
Process Optimization and Reporting.
Drive improvements in credit assessment tools, processes and methodologies to enhance analytical efficiency and monitoring and oversight capabilities.
Collaboration and Communication.
Partner with local Sao Paolo and global Credit Product Center management and underwriting teams to align credit risk decisions with business objectives.

About the Team.
The Head Credit Analysis Brazil leads a team that reports directly into the Credit & Surety Corporate Solutions Credit Product Center.
The Credit Product Center (CPC) itself reports into the Global Head of Credit & Surety Corporate Solutions and is a globally distributed team of 40-plus professionals with presence in São Paulo, Kansas City, Chicago, Frankfurt, Munich, Bratislava, Zurich, Bangalore, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
The CPC maintains direct contact to diverse senior management throughout Swiss Re by acting as a key Credit & Surety link with Swiss Re Group Risk Management, Legal, Operations, Finance, Claims, Actuarial (pricing and reserving) and Information Technology.
The Credit Product Center takes pride in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of methods and tools used to support fundamental credit risk assessment and timely monitoring and oversight of the global, in-force Credit & Surety portfolio.
About You.
You are passionate about credit risk analysis, a proven self-starter, organized and able to successfully handle multiple priorities and deadlines, managing diverse projects and tasks simultaneously.
You possess well-honed leadership skills and the ability to maintain effective, collaborative working relationships in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural environment Additional requirements include.
10+ years of experience in credit analysis and credit risk management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within surety or a similar financial services sector.
Strong knowledge of financial analysis, accounting principles, and risk assessment frameworks.
Familiarity with the Brazil surety market, including legal and regulatory frameworks related to surety.
Fluency in Portuguese and English Strong plus includes.
