Country Manager (Brazil) - For this position you will be responsible for:- Responsible for developing and managing sales activities (capital, project, or services) within a specified geography, product line, or market segment to achieve established sales targets. - Develop sales plans, activities, and campaigns and manage the operational activities of a sales and/or service sales team for an assigned geography, product line, market segment, or particular customers. - Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization. - Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures toimprove the overall performance. - Contribute to the development of sales, customer retention, pricing, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility through provision of market intelligence and customer information, and by understanding market trends. - May coach sales and/or service sales representatives on the operational aspects of the organization''s products and services and internal procedures; on sales promotions; and on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets. - Work complexity and business impact. - Develops sales and service sales plans and manages the activities of a single team for an assigned geography, small market segment or standard product line. - Manages a team, coaching team members in skills. Schedules, allocates and monitors work of the team. - Responsible for the Area P&L. - Work together with local operations to ensure competitive delivery times. - Promote team building. - Practice and motivate the team about Valmet HSE policies and procedures. In addition, to succeed in this position, you should have:- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Administration or related areas. - Solid experience in the valves area (desirable). - Solid experience in the commercial/administrative area. - Experience in a position with profit & loss responsibility. - Solid experience in people management. - Fluent English and Spanish (mandatory). - Fluent Portuguese (mandatory). - Availability for travels. - Availability to move to Sorocaba/SP region. - Successful track record of leadership with an ability to build, inspire and lead teams to achieve goals and drive accountability with a key requirement being a demonstrated ability to obtain results in a matrix organization.
