Role.
Business Development Manager (m/f/d) – Vaibe Key Responsibilities.
1.
Customer Acquisition and Partnership Development.
Identify and target potential direct customers as well as software companies that could integrate vaibe’s white-label solutions into their offerings.
Initiate contact with key personnel at prospective organizations and develop strategic lead campaigns.
Establish and nurture relationships to effectively introduce and present our solutions.
2.
Travel and Client Engagement.
Travel to meet potential software partner or clients, attend industry events, and participate in trade fairs.
Ensure high-quality engagement with both direct customers and partner companies, focusing on relationship building and long-term collaboration.
3.
Customer and Partner Needs Analysis.
Understand the unique needs and requirements of both partner companies and their customers as well as direct customers.
Conduct thorough analyses to determine how our solutions can best address these needs, whether as a standalone product or as part of a partner’s integrated offering.
4.
Proposal Development and Contract Negotiation.
Lead the preparation of partnership proposals, leveraging internal resources for support.
Additionally, support sales activities from partners and train sales representatives from partner companies.
5.
Drive the negotiation process with both partners and direct customers, working towards successful contract conclusions that align with both parties' goals.
6.
Cross-functional Team Collaboration.
Work closely with various internal teams to ensure customer and partner requirements are met.
7.
Collaborate with marketing to jointly drive lead generation campaigns and with customer success to ensure a seamless transition to customer onboarding, whether for direct customers or integrated solutions through partners.
8.
Ensure sales data are accurate in the CRM and prepare sales reports for status meetings.
Qualifications.
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role (3+ years).
- Industry-specific knowledge, including channels, solutions, vendors, and competition.
- Demonstrated success in sales and/or lead generation within a B2B software environment.
- Experience in partnership sales, with a focus on building and managing strategic relationships with partner companies.
- Preferably, experience in a fast-paced environment such as a startup or an innovative company.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Commercial awareness, initiative, and a strong customer focus.
- Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English is a must.
