BRAZIL MARKETS OPERATIONS CONTROLS MANAGER

Brazil Markets Operations Controls Manager - The team assists Operations Management in top-down and bottom-up risk analysis, real-time control issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation. Control Management focuses on four areas:- Control design and expertise- Risks and controls identification/assessment- Control breaks and resolution- Control governance & reportingYou will be responsible to represent Operations Controls for a variety of business in Brazil such as Cash Equities, Equities Derivatives, Futures & Options and Direct Custody. You will interact with the business and a broader control organization, including Business Control management, CCOR and Audit. You will also have an opportunity to participate in numerous global control initiatives, partnering and networking with OCM and OPS teams in multiple locations. **Role Responsibilities**:- In partnership with stakeholders, evaluate and perform an end-to-end analysis of the business'' risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses and determine root cause of control breaks- Ensure that controls are properly designed, operating effectively, and essential to a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols- Perform ongoing analysis of program related data (e. G. , KRI/KPI) and develop ad-hoc reports as requested to support business-related programs and strategies- Assist with development of Risk & Control Self-Assessment mapping and documentations through participation in end-to-end process walkthroughs and deep dives with assigned business units**Qualifications**:- Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience required- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence business leaders in a meaningful and actionable manner- Strong inter-personal skills and leadership. Ability to directly address conflicts and escalate issues where appropriate. - Independent, pro-active and result-oriented. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)J. P.
