BIG DATA TECHNOLOGY MANAGER

We are seeking a seasoned and skilled Technology Manager with a strong focus on Big Data to lead a segment of our technology function.Key Responsibilities:Roadmap Management: Ensure the alignment of the roadmap with business objectives and regulatory requirements.Team Leadership: Oversee two or more cross-functional data teams of approximately 10-30 members, setting performance goals and ensuring the achievement of Objectives & Key Results (OKRs).Collaboration: Work with peers and key stakeholders from various product lines to maintain high standards of delivery, quality, and performance, while identifying obstacles and implementing process improvements.Information Sharing: Promote consistent information sharing among all teams under your supervision and across different verticals.Best Practices: Develop and uphold best practices for data governance, quality, security, and privacy in line with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.Data Solutions: Provide scalable, secure, and cost-effective data solutions to support data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.Industry Trends: Stay informed on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to keep the company competitive and innovative.Employee Development: Foster a culture of continuous growth, high retention, and engagement among employees.Staffing: Assess team needs, identify potential risks, and actively engage in the hiring process.Leadership: Offer leadership, mentorship, and career development opportunities for team members.Work Location:This is an on-site position based in Pinheiros, São Paulo.Qualifications:Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, negotiation, and decision-making.Communication: Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills.Planning and Organization: Outstanding planning and organizational abilities.Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in a similar role, leading data/analytics teams.Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
