This role is perfect for someone who can spot emerging trends, craft original artwork, and develop detailed tech packsensuring every design meets brand guidelines and production standards. Location: LATAM. Schedule: Full-time, 10 am - 6 pm. EST. About our client: Our client is a leading manufacturer of backpacks, lunch kits, luggage, and accessories, with over 40 years of expertise. Specializing in character-licensed, national brands, and private label products, they are known for their innovative designs, patented technologies, and high-quality materials, offering exceptional value to their customers. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in consumer goods product design, particularly in licensed products. Strong portfolio showcasing product design work with licensed brands. Experience with 3D design and illustration is a plus. Professional proficiency in English (B2B experience with American clients preferred). Knowledge of the licensing process and guidelines, especially with major brands like Disney and Marvel. Technical Knowledge & Hard Skills Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat. Understanding of product development, from concept to production. Familiarity with design principles: composition, color theory, and typography. Experience with 3D design software, sketching, and illustration is beneficial. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, printing techniques, and construction methods. Up-to-date awareness of market trends in lifestyle consumer goods. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality standards and accuracy. Responsibilities Identify trends and design innovative consumer goods (licensed and non-licensed) for a wide demographic. Create original seasonal artwork for licensed products that stand out in the market. Develop detailed product tech packs and mockups for accurate production. Manage multiple design projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery.
