WAREHOUSE OPERATOR

Warehouse Operator - May be focused on a particular area of the operation. **General Job Description**:Under general guidance completed the following responsibilities:- Loading and unloading vehicles observing instructions for removal and packaging of volumes in a safe and efficient manner. ; - Organize goods in the warehouse according to the distribution routes observing packing instructions; - Execute the pick-up ofpackages at customers address, observing the loading and stowage rules, packing list specifications- Execute the loading of the collected packages and ask the customer to stamp and sign the pickup documents; - Execute the delivery of packages, organize the volumes in the customer''s warehouses and ask the customer to fill in the following requires in the delivery documents. - Assists in completing all related paperwork and manifests in an accurate and timely manner. - Inform the Cargo Clerk (Handler II) regarding all the losses and damages; - Organize and maintain the warehouse and handling equipment in an adequate state of use; - Maintain warehouse within established organization and conservation standards. - Operates mechanized equipment for over 50% of the total time worked. - May be required to perform other duties as assigned**Minimum Requirements**:**Minimum Education**:***- Elementary School Diploma- Valid driver license when required if operating equipment**Minimum Experience**:No previous experience required. Three (3) months FedEx handler experience preferred**Minimum Required Skills**:- Great verbal and written communication skills, organization, good personal relationship, dynamic and creative; - Flexible time required- Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency training. - Able to lift 75 Lbs. - Must be able to maneuver packages of weights up to 150 Lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. - Clerical experience including typing and/or general office administration duties preferred. - Good human relations and communication skills- Safety sensitive.
