Overview.
The V&V (Verification and Validation) area at Alstom is essential for ensuring that railway systems and components meet quality, safety, and performance requirements before implementation.
In this position, the intern will support verification and validation activities, including conducting functional and non-functional testing, risk analysis, and process documentation, collaborating multidisciplinary with engineering and operations teams.
The goal is to ensure that our products deliver reliability and safety, contributing to excellence in mobility and transportation.
Specific responsibilities of the role.
Perform the installation and configuration of physical and virtualized equipment for railway control and signaling systems.
Set up test platforms for various solutions.
Research applicable new software technologies.
Participate in the development of products for internal process automation in the V&V (Verification and Validation) area.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the integration of technological solutions.
Document processes and configurations performed.
Report progress and results of testing and automation activities.
Qualifications & Experience Competencies.
Students of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with expected graduation in December or later.
Information Tecnology concepts – IP configuration, operational system installation Basic Programming concepts, preferential languages – Python, Javascript Good Teamwork.
It will be a plus if you have knowledge in.
Machine learning algorithms, Computer networks configuration, Linux OS experience, machine virtualization with VMWare.
Previous experience – Not required.
Language skills.
Native/Advanced Portuguese Intermediate English Travel required – Not required.
