The Bruker Nano Analytics (BNA) Division with US office located at Madison, WI islooking for an Applications Scientist to join our team and support the Micro X-rayfluorescence product line. **Responsabilidades**:Provide on-site installation, testing and customer training of EDS, EBSD, andMicro XRF spectrometers. Installations involve setting up instruments, verifyingthat the system meets factory specifications by running complex series ofInstrument, Operational and Performance qualifications. Secure customer acceptanceof install and repairs. Plan and execute advanced user training online or at customer site includingsample preparation techniques. Diagnose problems by in-depth troubleshooting and provide service for repair ofcomplex instruments. Re-qualify the instrument after service/repair to ensureproper performance of the instrument. Perform on-site preventive maintenance and validation of spectrometers. Organize andprioritize schedule in accordance with customer requirements todetermine needs for immediate attention, onsite visits, and remote assistance. Coordinate with customers to arrange remote sessions, phone support, and technicalreviews. Coordinate travel arrangements. Attend in-depth product training at our Bruker Nano Analytics in Germany and NorthAmerica office in Madison, WI. Communicate and work closely with Service, Applications, and Support Centers. Perform other duties as required. Must be located within proximity of a major airport. CalificacionesB. S. in Physics, electronics, or related scientific discipline. MS or PhDdesirable. Minimum 4 years? experience diagnosing and repairing electronic equipment and/orStrong technical skills involving analytical instrumentation. Excellent customer focus with ability to reliably respond to inquiries,communicate and interact with customers. Excellent verbal, written, MS Office, computer, technical data, communication andpresentation skills, and ability to communicate complex technical issues in aneasy to understand manner. Valid Drivers'' License issued by country of residence and in good standing. Excellent organizational skills with ability to work independently, prioritize,multi-task, follow through, and meet deadlines within an entrepreneurial andcustomer-focused work environment. Ability and willingness to travel approximately 70% as required. Maintain a valid passport with flexibility for domestic and international travel. Certain positions at Bruker require compliance with export control laws and as apre-interview to determine their eligibility in light of export controlrestrictions.
