The Tax Specialist is responsible for overseeing the calculation and reporting of various taxes, including IPI, ICMS, PIS, COFINS, and ISS, ensuring compliance with tax legislation and optimizing tax strategies. This role involves handling primary obligations, such as tax calculations, and ancillary obligations, including SPED Fiscal, ECD, ECF, and REINF. The Tax Specialist will also support tax planning projects, identifying opportunities for tax savings and ensuring all tax documentation is accurate and timely submitted to government authorities. Some of the key activities include (but are not limited to): Perform accurate tax calculations for IPI, ICMS, PIS, COFINS, and ISS. Manage ancillary obligations such as SPED Fiscal, ECD, ECF, REINF, and withheld taxes. Stay updated on relevant tax legislation to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams on tax planning projects, including assessing tax impacts of business decisions. Prepare and submit reports to government authorities, demonstrating correct tax calculations. Assist in audits and provide documentation when necessary. Optimize tax strategies, including opportunities related to different regions. Stay informed on INSS and FGTS requirements. Idiomas :Inglês - Nível Avançado e Inglês - Nível Fluente Outros requisitos :A successful candidate will have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or a related field. Strong experience with tax calculations (IPI, ICMS, PIS, COFINS, ISS). Practical knowledge of SPED Fiscal, ECD, ECF, REINF, and withheld taxes. Familiarity with tax legislation and ability to interpret complex tax laws. Experience with tax planning and optimization strategies. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP and Dynamics is a plus). Nice to have: knowledge of INSS and FGTS. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
