TAX ANALYST

Tax Analyst - Responsibilities- Responsible for all tax compliances activities related to direct and indirect Taxes. i. E. : Income tax, Social Contribution on Profits, Pis, Cofins, ICMS, IPI, ISS, CIDE taxes etc. - Prepare all tax returns and calculate taxes (federal, states and municipality) associated with direct and indirect taxes. i. E. : ECF, PerdComps, DCTF, EFD-Contribuicao, EFD-ICMS/IPI, State tax returns etc. - Calculate and pay taxes within the deadline- Perform accounting reconciliation. - Prepare transfer pricing based on the Brazilian rules- If needed, review the compliance done by external counsel or other tax analyst, submitting them to government. - Provide tax consultation. Analyze the legislation. Provide tax training. - Test and implement tax changes in the systems. - Provide tax support to ExxonMobils upstream business in Brazil in the issuance of invoices (Notas Fiscais). - Support tax audits and tax litigation, providing the proper documentation. - Represent the company before tax authorities- Review the calculation of the taxes involved in import transaction related to ExxonMobils upstream business, assuring compliance with Brazilian tax rules. - Obtain tax certificates for ExxonMobil entities. Proficiencies- Good knowledge in Oil & Gas industry. - Accountant degree with solid knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation. Good expertise in REPETRO regime- 5+ years of tax experience in direct and indirect tax compliance activities (O&G rules)- Advanced level of Proficiency in English- Advanced level of Excel. - Familiarity with SAP System
