SR. PRODUCT ANALYST

Sr. Product Analyst - In this position you will be responsible for building the tools necessary for rate revision (auto, home, umbrella). This involves understanding the Personal Lines products and rating structures, historical rate changes and state-specific information, and also possessing excellent technical skills, communication skills and attention to detail. Work Experience: Minimum Required: 1-3 years; Preferred: 4+ years Required Branches of Study: Actuarial Sciences, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, data analytics, statistics. Critical Skills: Data Analysis: Minimum: Intermediate; Advanced strongly preferred. Market Strategies: Collaborate and recommend, Lead business management, Implement state initiatives Product and Industry Knowledge: Solid property and casualty knowledge, understands coverages and exposures, knows rating and underwriting Profit and Loss Management: Balance profit and growth, collaborate on trends and filings, pricing model experience, monitor initiatives, influence expenses and profits Strategic Thinking: Minimum: Intermediate; Advanced strongly preferred. Excel-focused Office Suite: Advanced required (7+ Years preferred) Power BI: Nice to have. Microsoft Office: Proficiency required in Excel- Intermediate (4-6 Years) VBA programming: Entry Level (1-3 Years) SQL, Snowflake, SAS: Entry level Skills: Excellent PC skills, specifically Excel (experience with VLOOKUP, Pivot tables a must) Proficient verbal/written communication skills Good data/technical skills Solid mathematics/analytical skills Driven and willing to learn Act with a sense of urgency Excellent attention to detail SQL/Snowflake and/or SAS basic proficiency. Essential Job Functions: Learn and understand PL insurance, client products, rate revision processes and tools in great detail Build Off-Balance tools for all client Personal Lines products Troubleshoot and fix errors Document changes and adjustments to tools and processes Monitor and manage deadlines and deliverables Communicate with State Management, Analytics, Data, Project and Implementation teams and distribution partners.
