SPECIALIST, BUYING AND TRADING JOB DETAILS | ADIDAS

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization.
To play a supportive role in achieving divisional sales and profitability goals within a focus on Concept Stores.
This role assists Buying with in-season product management, merchandising strategy, and the coordination of day-to-day operations and administrative duties to ensure deadlines can be met.
Key Responsibilities.
Support the seasonal strategy for area of responsibility and help to create best in class channel relevant buys specific to our consumer and on trend that drive top line sales and profitability to achieve targets Conduct weekly analysis of the current business and make recommendations based on the analysis Drive accurate reporting and sales recaps, weekly and ad hoc, including brand initiative products Identify and support with promotional opportunities at the category, concept, collection and article level to maximize sales for both pre-season and in season   Key Relationships.
Local BU teams Allocation and Planning Local retail teams Retail Operations Demand Planning   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities.
General understanding of channel operations Understanding of MS Office Suit and familiarity with merchandising systems/applications.
Excel skills required.
Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of the business via phone, written and in-person communication Ability to synthesize data, identify trends and recommend viable solutions Strong analytical skills, familiarity with Retail KPI’s, and understanding of retail math Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to build successful relationships within a team and cross-functionally   Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications.
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university 1- 2 years typical relevant work experience Experience with Retail and/or Merchandising preferred     Why adidas?
