Key Responsabilities Capture core data and assumptions required to design, cost, and price solutions for customers, incorporating customer insights that may inform future upselling opportunities.
Develop comprehensive solution designs, including scope of services, operating models, resource model, operating cost estimates, recommended selling prices, estimated client value, and draft P&L for Maersk.
Calculate warehouse size based on throughput and product data, primarily sourced from customer RFs.
Create warehouse process flows to optimize key activities, such as receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch, to maximize productivity.
Establish activity productivity targets to support resource and activity-based costing models.
Develop warehouse throughput simulation models using industry-leading software to visualize warehouse operations, throughputs, and alternatives.
Design warehouse layouts and engineering plans using AutoCAD software.
Collaborate closely with LEAN and Business Process Engineering experts to ensure the application of LEAN methodologies in new commercial opportunities within the geographic scope.
Contribute innovative solutions and ideas to create competitive offerings.
Participate actively in the Global CL Solution Design Community, sharing knowledge and best practices to support short- and long-term success.
Engage in open and constructive dialogue, sharing both supportive and critical views to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Support the development of automation proof of concepts.
Guide regional Solution Design teams on new business opportunities, including RFP responses, strategic cross-country projects, CAPEX, presentation materials, technical documentation, and support.
Who we are looking for Solid experience in the design of CL solutions.
Highly experienced in designing solutions for core CL-focus verticals.
Highly competent in creating warehouse layouts and simulation models using industry-leading software and AutoCAD.
Extremely skilled warehouse solution engineer who has a deep understanding of making process changes on productivity and financials.
Exposure to working in warehouse or logistics operations, including implementation.
Innovative in reaching conclusions and making recommendations based on limited and/or ambiguous data.
Proficient in English and Spanish languages.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Well-organized when working under pressure.
Team player – Works together with others in the business unit to achieve results, fosters teamwork.
Conveys a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure, persists despite obstacles and opposition.
Positive and proactive attitude.
