What the Candidate Will Do Design and build large scale systems for verification of users on the Uber Platform.
Enable verification checks at critical touch points in the user's journey to provide a seamless and magical user experience.
Leverage digital information, behavior signals and third party verification methods to establish trust in users.
Integrate with business systems dealing with Risk, Safety, and Compliance.
Work closely with multiple stakeholders to enable experiences globally.
Basic Qualifications 2+ years of backend software engineering experience.
Expertise in one or more object-oriented programming languages (Go, Java).
Demonstrated experience of shipping high-quality product features on schedule.
Demonstrated ownership over bugs, timelines, on call shifts.
