SHIFT ENGINEER

Shift Engineer - We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Shift Engineer to join our team. As a Shift Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our facility's operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of equipment and systems, and responding to technical issues promptly. Job DescriptionMain Duties: Operate, monitor, and maintain plant equipment, including AHUs, boilers, chillers, and other mechanical systems. Respond quickly and efficiently to repair requests from guests and departments. Perform regular inspections of designated plant rooms, reporting defects and maintaining cleanliness. Serve as the first point of contact for job requests from other departments. Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and supplies, reporting restocking needs to supervisors. Communicate effectively about ongoing repairs, including timelines and any unforeseen delays. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, using appropriate signage when necessary. Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure smooth facility operations. Participate in rotating shift schedules, including night shifts, to provide 24/7 coverage. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties. Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for work order management and reporting. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). 3-5 years of engineering experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including basic plumbing and electrical work. Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and plant equipment (AHUs, boilers, chillers, etc. ). Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Keen attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently. Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, as part of a rotating schedule. Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in industrial settings. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
