Services Seller - Establishing relationships with existing and new clients in a stand-alone capacity as well as in partnership with the IBM License Sales and synergistic business partners. Sales LeadershipGenerating leads and positioning IBM Expert Labs Offerings through solutioning, contract negotiation and comprehensive close plans for the deals in the pipelineNegotiating all contracts with prospective clients. Preparing and submitting customer solutions and sales contracts for orders. Thought LeadershipDeveloping pursuit strategies in the seller territory and supporting new business development including defining sales opportunities, assisting with determining engagement scope & cost projections, formulating potential solutions based on client requirements. Determining pricing schedules for quotes and negotiations. InnovationExplaining and presenting to existing clients and prospects the IBM Expert Labs Offerings in relation to IBM License Solutions. Collaborating with technical principals and technical sales to prepare realistic and accurate engagement project plans and/or estimates which define the activities, tasks, roles, responsibilities, milestones. IBMCommunity LeadershipEstablishing an exceptional internal and external network of business partners and IBMers. Coordinating sales efforts with IBM marketing programs and sales plays in market, license teams and business partners. Designing and contributing content and other reusable information to be shared with other Services Sellers. Leadership:Self-starter, hunter type approach to proactively work with services sellers and customers, well organized and a strong team player with a can-do attitude. Experience in managing and working with multiple opportunities with multiple customers and sellers. Sales:Experience in consultative sales techniques with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding targets working in a high-performance sales culture. Deep understanding of the IBM sales and qualification process. Technical:Understanding current IBM product capabilities, knowledge of product roadmaps and planned future functionality, and technical understanding of the IBM Solutions, methods and related products/solutions and how IBM Expert Labs fits into these solutionsInfluencer:Become a trusted advisor and drive extended relationships within Customer base. Communication:Senior executive level presence and presentation skills in both written and verbal communications. Superb interpersonal skills.
