- Ability to understand wiring diagrams, hooking up low voltage electronics, running sensor and networking cables
- Understanding of Hazardous Area Classifications with regards to electronic devices (Sensors, PLCs, Computers, HMIs)
- Fundamental understanding of computer networking and troubleshooting
- Experience working with sensors (pressure, temperature, flow)
- Control System Protocols - OPC-UA, Modbus, Profibus, Profinet (Minimum 1 of these. They don''t have to be experts, just general experience and knowledge)
- PLCs- Siemens, Allen Bradley (Preferred experience with Siemens, They don''t have to be programmers, just general experience and knowledge)
- Linux Devices - SSH, Command Line Interface (Network configuration, troubleshooting, executing scripts)
- Knowledge of wireless communications and architectures (Radio networks ex: LoRaWAN, WirelessHART) Nice-to-Have Skills Description: Message Brokers - MQTT, RMQ (Just general awareness of what they are, how they are used) Containerization Docker, Kubernetes Languages: English: B2 Upper Intermediate
