Impact is what we deliver. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development using Python and AWS services, with a focus on building and maintaining robust REST APIs. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our backend systems. Key Responsibilities Backend Development: Design and develop backend systems using Python, ensuring high performance and scalability. AWS Integration: Deploy and manage backend services using AWS (Lambdas, Step Functions), ensuring optimal performance and scalability. API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs, adhering to Open API standards to enable seamless integration between various systems. Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices in software development and code reviews. Testing: Implement unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability and performance of backend systems. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to constantly improve backend development processes. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) as a Backend Developer with a strong portfolio of backend systems and services. Technical Skills: Strong understanding and experience with AWS services, specifically Lambdas and Step Functions. Solid experience in creating and maintaining RESTful APIs, with a strong understanding of Open API standards. Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems (Git). Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Additional Experience: Experience with database management and designing database schemas. Certifications: AWS certifications or other relevant technical certifications.
