SENIOR PRODUCT ENGINEER

Team Overview and Job responsibilitiesSenior Product Engineer.
eporting to BU Elevator Manager you will be responsible for ensure the processes required for the Engineering and Quality Plant Process, helping customers, plant, inside Sales and Sales to implement and maintain products development, innovations, DCC for standard, other corporate and customer products requirements, ensure quality proceedings and process as customer normative and local regulations.
ou will plan and schedule engineer control assuring systems, raw materials, finished, semi-finished and/or in-process products to ensure manufacturing processes and conformance to pre-established products design.
Also prepare reports of Engineer indicators and attend auditory plan and execution for quality process.
ased in Sorocaba, you will also be responsible for total Engineer and Quality for EEBU Latam area, working with functional areas throughout the organization to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
ain responsibilities.
• Partner with regional sales managers to increase sales by managing inventory requests and analysis of sales data (Backlog data)• Be a reference for team pairs• Ensure coverage for daily staffing• Evaluate interns workload and delegate as needed, always align with Manager• Be responsible for any Engineer reports, KPI´s, process and new projects demanded by customers• Be responsible for products development and maintenance•Have weekly contact with the EEBU Engineer director for discuss DTC projects (cost optimization)• Build quality process under Prysmian regulamentation and customers needs• Ensure all quality process for guarantee the better result possible during quality auditories (internal or external) process.
e responsible for analyzing the root causes and creating action plans when a product defect occurs.
e responsible for creating and maintaining quality documentation, including test instructions, work instructions, and quality records.
e responsible for controlling monitoring and measuring equipment including calibrations according to the annual schedule.• Help customers to develop cables and solutions for Elevator and Escalator products and accessories.• Acting as a Technical facilitator between Sales, Plant, Logistics, and Pricing always with customer focus.• Ensure the quality process on the plant, ensure customers will receive just quality tested products.
e are looking for a candidate with the following skills and motivations.
• Be an English language fluent (read, write and speaks) is mandatory• Engineer Bachelor’s or Technical Degree• Acting as a leader• Must be able to motive and stimulate enthusiasm.• Time management, multi-tasking, and follow-up are the skills preferred• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specially Excel Skills)• Analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills• Technical aptitude to understand product functionality, specifications and application• Excellent written and verbal skills• Desire and ability to excel in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment• Motivated both individually and on a team level• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP• Knowledge of Elevator and Escalator parts will be a plus• Ability to handle confidential information• Reading and interpretation of technical drawings• Robust analytical documentation, planning, organizational and problem-solving skillsYour application data will be treated according to our Data Protection Policy.
