Overview.
As a developer on the SAP Concur Platform UI team, you will be engineering key areas of SAP Concur Travel and Expense products which enhance user experiences and drive business value.
These include evolution of the Homepage (the primary end-user entry-point), Profile and Administration user interfaces, as well as the UI framework, libraries, and components used across Concur applications.
The team also ensures these services and components are secure, compliant, and properly accessible.
Your work will enable innovative and engaging experiences that delight millions of SAP customers around the globe.
What you’ll do   Own user facing products and components including SAP Concur’s Homepage, Profile UI, Admin UI, and Core UI libraries and components.
Leverage a variety of UI technologies and tools such as React, Babel, Webpack, TypeScript, UI Testing frameworks like Jest, testing-library, playwright, documentation tools like Storybook.
Apply secure software development practices and tools such as source control (git, semantic versioning, package publishing and maintenance etc.) and dev tooling (package managers, linters, bundlers, transpilers etc.) Embrace end-to-end ownership.
architect, design, code, test, deploy and monitor software and support our customers.
Cooperate with Product Managers, UX Designers and fellow engineers in an ever-evolving, Agile environment.
Learn, as we move fast and are unafraid to venture into the unknown.
What you’ll bring   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or relevant experience Knowledge of software engineering with a focus on UI or full-stack development.
Experience with web development technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and popular UI frameworks/libraries such as React.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality user experiences for the modern web.
Experience with DevOps practices, tools such as Git, Webpack and automated testing frameworks.
Strong technical leadership abilities, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
Experience leveraging APIs (REST, GraphQL) and cloud-based services such as AWS a plus.
