These specialized software solutions enable companies in process and discrete manufacturing industries to increase the pace of product innovation while decreasing production and operational costs in their value chain.
As a Partner Solutions Architect focused on Independent Software Vendors (ISV) and System Integrators (SIs) within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon's utility computing web services (Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS and Amazon CloudFront, Amazon DevOps stack, Amazon Lambda, Amazon ECS, Amazon AI\ML) across the partner community.
Your broad responsibilities will be owning the technical engagement with strategic partners.
You will get the opportunity to work directly with senior engineers at both top software vendors and AWS service teams, influencing their roadmaps and driving innovation.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to write white papers, deliver technical webinars, and speak at events.
% travel is required.
Key job responsibilities Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
An advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
5+ years of experience in migration from data centers to public clouds, application migration experience from Linux, Windows, and containers to public cloud.
Hands-on experience with AWS Services like Amazon EC2, Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS), Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Migration Hub, AWS Database Migration Service (DMS).
Experience in Modernization designs while moving workloads from traditional operating systems to containers, serverless, and managed services.
AWS Certification - AWS Solutions Architect Professional and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (preferred).
Working knowledge and hands-on experience are required.
Experience working with partner ecosystems is a plus.
Previous AWS experience is preferred but not required.
Presentation and written communication skills are preferred.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.

software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience - 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience - 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience - Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs - Experience working with end user or developer communities
