Our developers design, build, and release software products in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries. Always collaborating with cross-functional project teams, our developers are adaptable problem-solvers with a client-oriented mindset. As a senior Java Developer at Endava, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining robust, scalable Java applications. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain complex Java applications, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. Participate actively in all phases of the application development lifecycle. Collaborate with various project stakeholders to provide support for clarifying requirements, processes, architecture, and priorities. Recommend and promote IT industry standards, tools, and practices (DevOps, etc. ) to achieve well-engineered software products. Propose improvements and escalate risks/issues related to development activities. Participate in the review of the work done by development team members. Learn and apply new technologies, practices, and tools as appropriate to the project. Participate in internal and external tech communities, events, etc. Share experience and knowledge gained from projects. Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in Java Development. Strong understanding of different common programming paradigms (OOP, Functional, etc. ). Strong familiarity with design/architectural patterns and clean code principles. Proficient in frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate. Practical experience in platform-specific database systems (Cassandra and PostgreSQL). Good understanding of version control systems like Git or similar. Understanding of messaging systems (Kafka). Experience with Agile methodologies (e. g. , SCRUM, KANBAN). CI/CD / deployment tools and experience with OpenShift, Jenkins, Blue Green, Microservices. Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Advanced English Level mandatory.
