SENIOR INDUSTRY CONSULTANT

Responsibilities Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Senior Industry Consultant In   Brazil within our Americas group focused on industrial plant operations.
As a strategic advisor, you will have an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver the strategy and solutions in the industrial plant operations market.
You will facilitate engagements with industry executives, aligning with their corporate goals to identify how Hexagon can help transform their enterprise.
You will also work with account teams to understand and overcome specific hurdles our customers face.
You will provide thought leadership to help solve the biggest challenges in the industry.
Finally, you will build ways to track customer impact, and use your experience to help improve the Hexagon engagement model and scale the Hexagon industrial plant operations value proposition.
You will be effective at facilitating sessions with senior leaders around their business goals.
In this role you will work with cross-functional teams as part of the program delivery and development.
This includes business development, solutions architecture, marketing, partners, professional services, sales enablement, sales operations, and international teams.
The Senior Industry Consultant is an experienced leader in the processes and management of a major operating facility such as a refinery or chemical plant (offshore operations will also be considered).
This person will function as consultant to capture, understand, and interpret the customer’s needs and propose a plan for application of Hexagon solutions and processes.
The Senior Industry Consultant will conduct evaluations and assessments of the customers’ business practices, work processes and technical environments and provide recommendations based on Hexagon Solutions.
The Industry Consultant must be knowledgeable in one or more of the following areas.
Maintenance and Reliability/Integrity Management Shutdown / Turn Around / Outage Management Plant Operations Job Safety and Risk Analysis Operational Excellence Startup, Shutdown and Operating Procedures Management of Change and PSSR Qualifications Qualifications.
· Excellent communication and people skills including being a confident and articulate speaker.
· Years of experience in operations of production facilities (refining, chemicals, etc.) · Thorough understanding of operations and maintenance processes · Knowledge of regulatory requirements that impact operating plants.
· Experience in Job Safety, Risk Assessment and PHA/HAZOP Analyses · Experience with information systems, such as maintenance, asset management, reliability, process historians, etc., used in operating plants.
Involvement in software implementations is a plus.
· Resource should be knowledgeable about digital technologies.
· Years collaborating with competitor solutions in a similar role or an equivalent time with consulting firms servicing the industry.
· Engineering/Business degree or equivalent qualification/experience · Ability to understand and communicate with all levels in an organization.
· Excellent presentation skills, previous experience of C-Level Presentation, Customer communication/handling.
· Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of the industry related to Hexagon's solution offerings by monitoring new developments, new products, new research, and new concepts in the industry.
· Be in tune with the marketplace and abreast of technical trends and competitor plays.
· Prioritize and coordinate sales opportunities with Industry Marketing and Key Account Management organization.
· Keep field organization current with industry technology and best practices.
· Identify, develop, and provide basic input on industry unique needs for sales tools, technical materials, sales collateral, media, and other promotional materials and campaigns.
· Help develop sales strategies, concepts, and messaging supporting Hexagon's Sales Methodology leveraged by account executives guiding prospects through the buying process journey and influencing RFx if required.
o Creating business cases, identifying market potential, Requirements gathering, Requirements analysis o Due-diligence and Portfolio rationalization, Client engagement, new business development · Lead vision workshops identifying new market opportunities and other areas Hexagon can support within the industry.
Provide SME support related to industry initiatives, marketing events, and speaking engagements.
Domestic travel up to 40% possible   Preferred Qualifications · Prior experience leading implementations of technology projects in the industrial operations industry, either as a vendor or as an enterprise user.
· Experience with software development practices and data center / infrastructure / networking / database systems / core distributed computing concepts / fundamentals of cloud computing and virtualization / storage systems / Analytics / emerging paradigms like IoT, Machine Learning, etc.

· Experience selling within the technology industry is highly desired, particularly to plant operators.
· Analytical and data-driven, and demonstrate balanced strategy and planning, and execution skills.
