Boeing Brazil is seeking Senior Electronic Systems Engineer, reporting to the Electrical Systems Manager, working out of the Sao Jose dos Campos - SP office. The Senior Electronic Systems Engineers will join the Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) team. All projects focus on design, development, and production support of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) Platform Architecture and Airplane Electronic Hardware (AEH) & Software. Responsibilities include translation of concepts and high-level requirements to specific architectures and operational specifications, and the integration of avionics systems and components into our complex airplanes. Work with a worldwide team to implement system hardware and software. Verification of system designs at the component, system and airplane levels. Work with aircraft systems from initial concept through certification, delivery, and in-service support. Position Responsibilities:Lead component design, development and qualification per DO-160Lead System Requirements documentation, validation, and verification per ARP-4754A and DO-297Lead System Safety Analysis documentation per ARP-4761IMA Platform configuration and architecture definition in alignment to airplane functional requirementsOversee integration with IMA Platform hosted functions to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirementsLead analysis and decomposition of requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications per DO-178 and DO-254Develop and oversee execution of verification plan for system designs tomeet operational and functional requirementsOversee supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements and scheduleBasic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):Bachelor?s Degree from an accredited course of studySenior experience defining and implementing engineering processes and methodsExcellent verbal and written communications skills in EnglishLegally able to work in BrazilPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):Bachelor?s degree in Electrical or Computer EngineeringExperience within Electronic Systems hardware and software designExperience certifying electronic systems designs through FAA or other regulatory agenciesExperience with systems design during an airplane development program including Amended Type CertificationExperience leading cross functional teamsDemonstrated project management skills within a fast paced highly integrated environmentExperience with Aerospace Networking Standards such as ARINC664, ARINC825Experience with Model Based Development toolsLocation:Boeing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
