What does the job involve? The Team.
Drilling & Well (D&W) Competence Center is responsible for ensuring engineering competence and capacity for planning of Drilling, Completion, Intervention and Subsea activities across the Equinor organization.
Our teams plan and deliver Intervention operations and exploration and development wells in collaboration with our customers in Equinor.
Our team consist of approximately 700 highly qualified D&W engineers within the disciplines; Drilling, Completion, Subsea, Intervention, Field development and Business Excellence.
Our purpose is to ensure a competent, motivated, and flexible workforce delivering on Equinor's strategy and priorities.
We collaborate closely with D&W Planning centers and Operational centers across the organization targeting high quality deliveries and development.
What will my tasks be? Within this position, your key tasks will be to.
We are currently looking for Senior D&W Subsea Engineers for our operational planning and execution team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
As a D&W Subsea Engineer you.
Joining the International Deepwater team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, performing planning and follow up of operations.
Identify and ensure quality of necessary subsea equipment for all phases of the operation.
Follow-up subsea vendor.
Prepare and ensure quality in Detailed Operational Procedures (DOP’s).
Participate and facilitate risk meeting.
Ensure experience transfer and follow up synergies/non- conformance.
Perform experience transfer and well reporting.
Contribute actively to safety compliance in our operations.
Offshore trips are expected.

Bachelor’s or master's degree in engineering discipline with eligibility to hold an active CREA.
Extended experience might compensate for the lack of formal education.
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with subsea equipment/operations.
Experience with deepwater operations is preferable.
Wellhead experience will be positively evaluated.
Passionate to work in our teams where we plan, support and execute drilling and well operations.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Good communication, interpersonal and cross-cultural skills.
Ability to live by our safety and security expectations.
A business mindset and ability to collaborate with other disciplines for developing high value solutions.
