Senior Corporate Tax AdvisorWhats the roleThe Corporate Tax Advisor provides local and cross- Order tax advice and planningTo the Business and Functions, focusing efforts on areas of the highestComplexity, risk, and added value. The role will be responsible for, amongstOthers, corporate, Trading and New Energies, all of which are expected to deliverConsiderable growth within the region. ALSO, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE OF THE FOLLOWING DUTIES:Discuss tax impacts on Raizen transactions/deals. Supports the Corporate Tax Manager by acting as first- Line tax support providingLocal, customs, and cross- Order tax advice and planning to the Businesses andFunctions. Also, supports treasury discussions e. G. , PPE, capital reduction, dividends,Interest on equity and others, intragroup agreements, H&R payroll taxes, allRelated to tax consequences. Works with internal and external stakeholders to design and recommend optimaltaxOlutions and corporate structures to meet legal requirements, reduce exposure,And maximize shareholder value, including handling tax audits, defense, andDisputes when needed. Operates at senior levels in the Businesses and Functions, where stakeholderEniority ranges FitB, Controllers, Legal, Commercial, BTM, VP business, CchEtc. **Requirements**:What we need from youMust have legal authorization to work in the Brazil on a full- Time basis forAnyone other than current employerMinimum 10 years of working experience in tax advisory roles. Preference will beGiven to those with experience in corporate taxationBachelors degree in Law is preferableAppropriate technical, professional, and businessKnowledge/experience/qualificationsStrong technical knowledge of corporate and M&A Brazilian LawAbility to design and recommend optimal corporate structures and tax conceptsAssist in improving the tax efficiency of the corporate structure within area ofResponsibilityStrong knowledge of Double Tax treaties signed by Brazil and internationalTaxation discussionsIndirect Tax and Special Regimes for the oil and gas industry experience is a plusAbility to evaluate tax risks and balance risk with Business objectives, and makeRecommendations that are objective, practical, technically appropriate, andUpportive of the Business. Ability to proactively engage and build relationships with other departmentsGaining and maintaining the confidence of client management and operational staff,Convincing same of the value of tax considerations in structuring and implementingUsiness transactions. Strong team working, organizational and communication skillsCapacity of prioritization and escalation as appropriatedGaining and maintaining the confidence of client, management, and operationalTaff, convincing them of the value of tax considerations in structuring andImplementing business transactions.
