SENIOR CONSULTANT SAFETY AND SUSTAINABILITY (ONSHORE)

Airswift is seeking a Senior Consultant Safety and Sustainability (Onshore) to work on an outsourced contract in Porto Açu with a major Oil & Gas Operator.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and execute the Shore Base HSE Plan, performing the quality-assurance and follow-up of the SB Transition Action Plan; Perform HSE inspections and routine verifications at the Warehouses, Pipe Yard, Waste Management Area, Chemical Storage Area, Offshore Vessels and any other area or activity related to the Supply Base operation; Perform the quality-assurance checks and follow-up of the Supply Base Control of Work system, such as.
Permit to Work, JSA, ToolBox Talks and checklists; Provide SSU support during high risk activities, such as.
confined space entry, work at height, hot works, heavy or complex liftings and SIMOPS conflict coordination; Support the line on Risk Assessments, ensuring that the risks are mapped and their mitigations measures are properly addressed; Support on implementation and follow up of HSE programs and initiatives, such as behavior assessment and interviews, observation card analyses, HSE Dashboard development, KPIs improvement, SSU Forum, Safety Campaigns (Hands and Fingers, PDO, Slips Trips and Falls, etc), etc; Take an active part in implementing Equinor’s Safety Culture, leading by the example the I’M SAFETY, use of C&L, Life Saving Rules, Equinor’s Core Values and complying with external and internal requirements; Prepare and execute trainings, briefings and presentations; Act as the on-the-field SSU Rep, meeting the demands of Safety, Health and Work Environmental, Sustainability, Emergency Response, Security and Regulatory Compliance; Coordinate the HSE issues among the various contractors related to the Supply Base operation; Support and participate in incident investigations; JOB QUALIFICATIONS Solid experience in HSE-related positions, with experience on Supply Base operations.
Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, able to manage needs from multiple stakeholders; Excellent knowledge of Occupational Health, Environmental and Safety Legislation; Experience in incident analysis and investigation techniques; Experience with Confined Space Supervision, Lifting and Hoisting operations and Supply Vessel operations is required; Knowledge of risk assessment tools; Certified as a registered Safety Technician by the National School of Labor Inspection - (ENIT - NR4 compliance) or relevant experience in the HSE area/position; Strong computer and software skills (HSE reporting tools, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet); Certificates for the function (NR-33, NR-35, ISO and OHSAS ) will be considered as a differential; Fluency in Portuguese and English (oral and written) is required Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications.
