RESEARCH INVESTIGATOR

Research Investigator - Testing will utilize ASTM, SAE, customer, and internal specifications to prepare, test, and analyze new products and substrates. Tests will include mechanical and physical property testing. Ability to learn and share knowledge, of the current and future adhesives product line, will be essential. - When a problem arises, this person may be asked to provide the necessary testing and determine next steps. This person will be asked to participate in troubleshooting field problems and to lead or be a participant in formal Root Cause Investigations. The individual may be expected to utilize their knowledge toward preventing future problems by helping develop PFMEAs (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and process standards. This person will become familiar with the quality system and must be compliant in their documentation. Leadership and engagement in site safety programs are mandatory. **Main requirements**:- A Bachelor''s degree in a Science related field is required. A fundamental understanding of chemistry and mechanical testing would be a benefit. - Relevant automotive customer experience. Understanding of equipment, knowledge of automotive assembly process. Previous work experience in a lab or industrial environment. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Portuguese and English. - Able to travel 50% of the time.
