Redhat Cloud Engineer - With a unique value proposition including a best-of-breed in-house trading and risk management platform, coupled with business processing services, the client has a highly skilled core team in London, Connecticut and Hong Kong which Luxoft will supplement and enhance. The client is in a growth phase and requires high performing and motivated individuals to join the services teams provided by Luxoft. As a Systems Administrator at Luxoft you will be responsible for the implementation and management of our clients IT infrastructure, covering Windows, Linux and networks. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of systems and servers. Responsibilities : Server Management:Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems. Install, update, and patch server software and applications. Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources. Security and Compliance:Implement security best practices to safeguard servers and network infrastructure. Perform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and system hardening. User Account Management:Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts and access permissions. Provide technical support to users for account-related issues. Backup and Recovery:Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures for critical data and systems. Test backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and system availability. Hardware and Software Procurement:Assess hardware and software requirements, research vendors, and make recommendations for procurement. Install and configure hardware components, including servers, storage, and peripherals. Documentation and Reporting:Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies. Generate regular reports on system performance, capacity, and security. Technical Support:Provide second-level technical support to resolve complex issues escalated from the helpdesk. Collaborate with service desk personnel to ensure timely issue resolution. Monitoring and Alerts:Implement system monitoring tools and configure alerts for proactive issue identification. Respond to and resolve critical system alerts in a timely manner. #J-18808-Ljbffr
