Your role in our team.
As an R&D Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of new products and solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities.
Conceptualize, design, and implement automation solutions that enhance our portfolio of products and development of new ones.
Integrate automation solutions with existing equipment and processes.
Develop and implement programmable logic controller (PLC) and human-machine interface (HMI) programs for automated systems.
Troubleshoot and optimize PLC and HMI code for optimal system performance.
Select appropriate sensors, actuators, and control devices for automation projects.
Ensure seamless communication and integration between different components of the automated system.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and production teams, to ensure successful implementation of automation projects.
Collaborate with vendors and external partners for the procurement of automation components.
Conduct thorough testing of automation systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and safety.
Validate automation solutions through performance analysis and optimization.
Prepare detailed documentation, including system specifications, schematics, and operating manuals.
Maintain accurate records of system configurations and changes.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in existing automation systems.
Promote and encourage the incorporation of new technological trends to enhance product performance.
Design the architecture of the solutions taking into account the project specifications.
Your profile.
3 - 6 years of experience in similar positions.
Degree in Electrotechnical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
Master's degree is a plus.
Preferably, with programming experience (Tia Portal Siemens) Proficient in PLC programming languages.
Experience with HMI programming and interface design Strong understanding of control systems, motion control, and industrial automation technologies Familiarity with different communication protocols used in industrial automation Eplan is a plus MS Office Applicable Standards and Regulations English Your benefits.
