QUALITY COORDINATOR (Business Excellence) Job description:Point of contact for Business Excellence/Pulse & Impact Quality QHSES leadership deployment within the GBU, REMS or Global FunctionsLead and manage Business Excellence/Pulse & Impact Quality deployment within the GBU and Global Functions to support local, regional, or global prevention and improvementsCollaborate with Senior leadership to execute Gemba walk process (Managing for Daily Improvement i. E. Daily Management System), utilizing and constantly improving the visual management on the shop floor and in the office areasDrive flow, pull and material management through the operationsSupport operations and office group to drive the establishment and maintenance of standard work and continuous flow in all areas including metric based accomplishments of the transformation planDevelop a robust prevention and continuous improvement strategy in partnership with the Senior Management Team and key business stakeholdersImplement and support cultural change across the organization and drive business improvementsProvide expertise, professional lean advice and guidance to the business for business improvement and business transformations drawing from proven industry practice and methodologiesReport on progress of projects, understanding the risks, dependencies, budgets, resourcing, issues, critical milestones and forecast of services and actions necessary to ensure companys successUndertake business process waste analysis, or variation statistical analysis for lean improvement projects to support efficiency gains for incremental and transformative changeLead, define and develop continuous improvement cultural activities designed to improve value stream performance, such as rapid improvements, obeyas, or kaizen eventsLead continuous improvement training and competency development to increase lean maturityPerform root cause analysis for problem identification and counter measure resolutionConduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department and activate help chain when appropriateSet department objectives/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and review andassess ongoing performance of direct reports, project teams, and networksEnsure relevant on-going learning and development of all employees in lean improvement thinking, method, and toolsEstablish & manage relationships with leadership to understand critical business needsDrive Lean throughout the operations by ensuring standardization of work practicesResponsible for tracking and validation of improvement projects identifying financial benefitsResponsible to deliver and secure results as defined by strategies and objectives for Operations supporting improvement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, & People (S, Q, D, C,P)Analyze design sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layoutsConducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systemsSupport product delivery teams aiming to develop customer projects focused on achieving greater specialization in product sub-assemblies to provide advantages, differentials and gains in scaleEffective use of Lean tools and methods to lead and facilitate high impact and high value improvement projects / transformations and shop floor visual management systemsLean Assessor to conduct Lean Maturity Assessment based on Lean Production Systems industry standards criteriaStrategic planning to support the Lean Journey relevant to stakeholders requirements/True NorthPlanning & delivery of Business Excellence/QHSES leadership (Pulse Impact Quality) training modules and workshops to our business, clients and partners through approved methods of engagementSupport in the continual development and improvement of the Business Excellence/QHSES Excellence Leadership Program internal systems, processes, tools, reporting, and governanceLocation:Cidade Nova Rio de Janeiro (Eco Sapuca)You are meant for this job if:Bachelor degree in Bachelor degree in Business, Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Operations or relevant discipline. Advanced English; Excellent knowledge of Lean tools, Lean Visual Management Systems, Lean Maturity Assessment criteria and scoring, and demonstrated experience leading multiple projects; Training and Facilitation expertiseExperience with continuous improvement Lean, Six Sigma, Agile; Experience related to Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement and Engineering; Formal Q/HSES, ASQ, APICS, PMI Certification (or similar accreditation); The ability to understand and demonstrate Product Knowledge solid practical understanding of Engineering, Supply Chain and Manufacturing; Strong financial acumenwith P& L responsibility is a plusExcellent understanding of business systems/processes and ERP systems; Strong track record of delivering valuable business results (improvements in cost, lead time, quality and operation efficiency).
