PROJECT QUALITY SPECIALIST

Project Quality Specialist - Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result. **Responsibilities**:- Develop and implement quality management plans for projects, outlining quality goals, resources, and processes. - Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to project specifications and regulatory requirements. - Analyze project documentation and deliverables to verify compliance with quality standards and customer expectations. - Collaborate with project teams to establish and maintain quality assurance procedures, tools, and metrics. - Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues and non-conformities. - Provide guidance and support to project teams on quality-related matters throughout the project lifecycle. - Facilitate quality training sessions and workshops for project staff to enhance understanding and implementation of quality practices. - Monitor and report on project quality performance through metrics, KPIs, and quality assurance reports. - Stay updated on industry best practices, standards, and regulations related to project quality management. **Qualifications**:- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Eletrical, Materials or Production); - Proven experience as aQuality Analyst or similar role in project management, ideally in Hydro. - In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, standards (ISO 9001, etc. ), and regulatory requirements. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams. - Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and quality assurance. - Proficiency in quality assurance tools and software (e.
