Product Specialist I - **Olympus, a leading medical technology company, has focused on making peoples lives better for over 100 years. ****Our Purpose is to make peoples lives healthier, safer, and more fulfilling. **The purpose of the Product Specialist I is to support the development of the Gastroenterology and Respiratory (GI&R) products in Brazil, holding responsibility for knowing the technical details of the products of each area to support development of key initiatives, support product evaluations, registration, launching, trade shows participation, and sales team, distributors and customers training. **Job Duties**:- Identify market information regarding competitors and their strategies market share by means of survey and preparation of numeric data to support the strategic decision-making process. - Perform periodic visits to customers to verify product performance training need detect market opportunities and strengthen relationships. - Act as training multiplier to the sales team so as to expedite learning increase productivity and qualification in major products traded. - Participate in congresses related to the area by means of organization of stands with communication firms procured so as to ensure greater exposure of the brand and support marketing actions. - Support the execution of advertising campaigns promotions launching of new products and participation in events ensuring greater exposure of the brand. - Follow up with Regulatory area and internal areas the updates/registration of new products submit the required technical information to allow the registration to be performed according to the required standards both in the system and with regulatory agencies. - Support the tender area by submitting technical information related to product description and request for tender coding. - Maintain ongoing communication with the head office (Olympus Corporations America) located in the United States and search updated relevant product information to guarantee marketing actions. **Job Requirements**:**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:- University Degree in Business Management or health care areas.
